CDARS & Insured Cash Sweeps (ICS)

What is CDARS?

CDARS is the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service. And it's the easiest, most convenient way to enjoy full FDIC insurance on deposit amounts larger than $250,000. Everything is handled through our bank. You can work with just one bank - our bank - and receive insurance from many. All of your CD's will be listed on one statement from us.

What is ICS?

With ICS, you can have excess cash balances sent from your transaction account with us into money market deposit accounts (MMDAs) that earn interest.  Additionally, those funds can be fully FDIC insured and accessed up to six times per month.  You will have access to an online tool, specially developed for ICS, which enables you to track monthly program withdrawals - so you can literally watch your money as it works hard for you.

When you have funds in both CDARS and through ICS under the same tax identification number, the ICS system is programmed to recognize existing CDARS placements and exclusions maintained by us for you.
